Design Sprint

This Social Impact project was a term-long project during my master’s degree at IE University. The challenge was divided into three sprints over the course of 2,5 months.

The challenge the clients proposed was: how might we create a deep and meaningful learning for our acumen fellows, both offline and online.

Acumen is a global community changing the way the world tackles poverty, one of the ways they do it is by developing leaders disrupting poverty, through their Fellowship program.

This solution helps Open Value in the creation of a community for the Acumen fellows as they launch the Acumen Fellow Program in Spain.

Discover

For our research we started with general desk research to better understand Acumen's vision and mission.

After, we started interviewing actual fellows of the Acumen program to better understand their needs and reasons of being part of a community like Acumen.

Define

How might we create a sustainable value adding community for all the fellows in order to scale social impact

Develop

To built a sustainable community we came up with six diverse solutions to enhance and create a stronger community. For this project we focused on clustering fellows and creating internship programs to support the fellowship program.

Deliver

We designed a whole new customer journey for the acumen fellows. By implementing our solutions we generate and foster a community which will be long lasting, also after the program is finished by the fellows.
